A Flag Football Tournament on Black Friday at Count Basie Field in Red Bank to Benefit Lunch Break
Residents, friends, and family members of Fair Haven, Little Silver, Middletown, Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, Red Bank, Rumson, and Shrewsbury are invited to participate in The Rivalry Series flag football tournament on Friday, November 23rd along with the other programs this event has planned around the Thanksgiving holiday. Register online today to reserve your roster spot for the football games and also reach out now to the event organizers to learn how you and your family can volunteer & support this community tradition. Everyone, of all ages is encouraged to get involved. The more help, the more fun everyone will have and the more we can do together for Lunch Break.

Before we take the field Friday, November 23rd for friendly flag football games against each other, all players & their families are invited to serve warm meals to those less fortunate on Saturday, November 17th at Lunch Break. Then, celebrate the start of Thanksgiving Weekend on Wednesday, November 21st during our Rivalry Series Kickoff Party at Red Bank's Elks Lodge on West Front Street at 7pm featuring live music, food & drinks for all ages. Admission is free for family's of participants.
9AM - 2PM
Lunch Break provides food, clothing and fellowship with compassion and dignity for all. Wear your Rivalry Series jersey to Lunch Break and help those in need this Thanksgiving season. Volunteering on Saturday, November 17th together is an opportunity for your entire family to realize how fortunate we all are and to be grateful for all we have. The Rivalry Series is more than just a flag football tournament!
7PM - 10PM
Wear your Rivalry Series jersey and JOIN US at Red Bank's Elks Lodge at 40 West Front Street located next to Riverside Park for our Kickoff Party! Admission is free for family's of participants. There will be live music, auction items, food, and drinks for all ages. The food will be generously provided by Sickles Market and the adult beverages will be provided by the Ross Brewing Company of Red Bank.
Come early with your family and friends to enjoy the community atmosphere and take the field for the friendly flag football games against each other as we tackle hunger in our community for Lunch Break. Afterwards, all players and their families are invited to The Beach Tavern in Monmouth Beach for a family-fun after-party!
9AM - 5PM
All players must arrive 40 minutes prior to their listed game-time. The event is played at Red Bank's Count Basie Sports Complex at 11 Henry Street. All registered players from each age bracket from Fair Haven, Little Silver, Middletown, Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, Red Bank, Rumson and Shrewsbury will be on one team representing their home towns in single-elimination flag football tournaments. Eliminated teams will participate in consolation games.
8PM - 11PM
JOIN every player and their family for a fun night in Monmouth Beach on the Shrewsbury River at The Beach Tavern (33 West Street) after the football games as we enjoy delicious food & drinks together along with tons of laughter reliving the day's football game highlights. Players, and family members of all ages are invited to this After Party where we will celebrate another successful Rivalry Series event.
Once you have donated online, you will need to complete the below Player Registration Form to receive your custom town-jersey. Registrations after November 1st are not guaranteed to have personal name & numbers on the back of your jersey. Proceeds from The Rivalry Series will benefit Lunch Break.
